The Classification of "Classic Regular Use" is what makes the Safeco auto insurance program unique. Most companies that insure classic vehicles restrict mileage, daily driving, and must have another car to drive primarily. This does not meet the needs of most Vanagon owners. We drive our Vans daily and it might be our only vehicle. "Classic Regular Use" is written with an Agreed Amount endorsement which is what you need. The major drawback of this program is two-fold. 1st, you must not have more than 1 point in your driving history (Must be a California "Good Driver.") 2nd, the premium is 50% more than regular policies. Safeco is a good option for Vanagons that are worth $10,000 and up. Remember, they are agreeing on the value and they are charging you a premium for it.
